WOW! What a week
Lady Bears No. 1 beats Notre Dame No. 2, 94-81 Sunday.
Saturday night it was late but the Baylor football team stuck with 8
second
left to lift the Bears (No. 25 over number 5) Oklahoma. 45 to 38. This was
the first time Baylor has beat Oklahoma. Over 40,000 fans turned out
again to support the Bears. Robert Griffin hit Kendal Wright and Terrance
Williams all night to keep the score board changing.
Art Briles team faces another challenge Saturday Nov. 26 as they meet
Texas
Tech at a neutral sight — the fabulous Cowboy Stadium. 6 p. m. This
should not
overwhelm them because they have been there before.
Another challenge comes back home at Baylor stadium when Texas comes
to town, Dec. 2 at 2:30 p. m. Again on national TV.
Let’s put the Dallas Cowboy back in the mix since they beat Washington
Sunday, and
then they play again Thanksgiving Day. This is one of the best games of
the year.
The Salvation Army uses this game
to kick off their kettle drive. They welcome the Miami Dolphins to
Arlington, 3:15 game
The Baylor Bears get to play there Sat., Nov. 26 when they met Texas Tech
at 6 p. m. Then Baylor faces another big challenge at home playing Texas
Dec. 2 at 2:30
p. m. Probably on their own TV network.
