Seminars: Professional angler, Keith Combs, will host a bass fishing seminar during the show.
Catfish Tournament Weigh-In: For the first time in the history of Central Texas largest boat show and preceding the Tuff-Man Championship Bass Tournament weigh-in there will be a Catfish Weigh-In. Members of “Central Texas Catfish”, “South Texas Catfish Association” and the “North Texas Trophy Cats” clubs will weigh-in there catfish tournament catch starting at 1PM under the dome in the Bell County Expo Center!
TuffMan Championship Weigh-in: Saturday afternoon beginning at approximately 3:30PM qualifying teams that competed in the TuffMan Bass Tournament Championship on Lake Belton will weigh-in their catch. Over $20,000 dollars will be awarded to the top five teams. The winning team will receive $10,000 dollars for 1st place! Come watch the fun! The weigh-in will be held in the Bell County Expo Center under the dome. Professional bass angler, Keith combs, will be the master of ceremonies for the weigh-in. Qualifying Tournaments: Winners can win the following – $5,000 dollars using a 2010 Model year Triton Boat. $2500 dollars using a 2009 Model year or older Triton boat. If no winner $1000 dollars to the highest qualifying angler finishing in the top ten (10)
TuffMan Championship: $10,000 dollars using a 2010 Model year Triton boat. $5000 dollars using a 2009 Model year or older Triton boat. If no winner highest qualifying angler finishing in the top ten (10) will receive $2000 dollars. Winners fishing from used Triton boats and winners fishing from boats manufactured from 1997 thru 2005 will receive 50% of listed bonuses. All boats must be warranty registered with Triton boats in current owner’s name. Must meet all Triton Gold requirements. Visit the Triton website to view the 2010 Triton Gold rules.

As far as price is concerned the deepest discounts and best boating prices are to be found at boat show time! The Boat Show begins Friday, January 7th and runs through Sunday, January 9th at the Bell County Expo Center in Belton! Be sure and check out the entire show in the huge Exhibition Hall. Show hours are Friday 12noon – 8pm, Saturday 10am – 8pm and Sunday 10am – 5pm. Adult tickets are just $5.00 dollars each. Children 12 and under are admitted free when accompanied by a paid adult. Parking is FREE!
Friday, January 7th is Military Appreciation Day! Active Duty Military and their dependents will be admitted FREE by presenting their Active Duty Military I.D.
Saturday from 10 am until 2 pm the Scott & White Blood Mobile will be on hand. Anyone donating blood will receive a free pass for the boat show.
Seminars during the show include Bass Pro Keith Combs. Each seminar will provide information and secrets that can only be learned by spending countless hours on the water. The seminars are included with your show attendance.
New this year: For the first time in the history of the Central Texas Boat Show there will be a weigh-in held for a Catfish Tournament! Beginning at 1 pm under the dome and prior to the TuffMan Championship weigh-in, three catfish tournament groups will weigh their tournament catch. Members of the “Central Texas Catfish Association,” “South Texas Catfish Association,” and the “North Texas Trophy Cats” clubs will weigh-in their largest catfish. This is your chance to “see on the whisker” what is actually swimming in some of our Central Texas Lakes. In speaking with one of the teams they said, “We had 80 lb leader line broken on a big catfish last week! We hardly moved her off the bottom of the lake.”
TuffMan Championship
Beginning at 3:00pm Saturday (Jan 8th) some of Central Texas most experienced bass fisherman load their boats on the trailers at Belton and head to the Bell County Expo Center to weigh their catch for the TuffMan Championship Bass Tournament. The official weigh-in starts at approximately 3:30pm. The TuffMan weigh-in is conducted under the Expo Dome! That means a great seat for everyone to view the weigh-in! The winning team will receive $10,000.00 in cash! This is the 11th Annual TuffMan series. Thousands of dollars in cash and prizes will be awarded among the 61 qualifying teams.
Kid-Fish fishing will be available all three days of the show! Kids of all ages will enjoy trying their fishing skills on a tank full of Channel Catfish. It’s like catching fish in a barrel; except this is a really big barrel and there will be some whopper size catfish waiting to take the bait!
