WISD is wanting feedback from parents, grandparents and taxpayers.
Some people can’t understand why the kids can’t stay in school in the daytime, while their parents work.
I hear the elementary schools are out all next week. This causes parents or in my case a grandparent, to quit work at 10:30 a. m. (Today) to pickup the kids and baby sit them.
This happens all the time. I see cars lined up at Provident Heights all the time during working hours to pick up their kids.

In some cases the parents are making more money than the grandparent so they do it that way. Some employers are tougher on their employees on letting them off. If they are not at work then they are not as productive.

I’ll bet the teachers don’t get paid less when the kids are not in school.

Please pass this on to the proper people. I think it will make a good editorial.
Sincerely Yours,
Bill Foster
