Waco Rampage Ribbon Cutting Ceremony 7-14-2012
Who: The City of Waco
What: Gave Waco Rampage the sofball/baseball field on the corner of 15th
and Dutton.
When: Saturday, July 14 ,2012
Where: Formerly one of the Kiwanis Field and also Baylor played there at one time.
Why: The Waco Rampage has been cleaning up and maintaining the field in exchange
of using it for practice. Put in hopes of the community of Waco Select Teams they are
wanting to have games there also. Any monetary donations, material donations, and
volunteer labor would be greatly appreciated by these young teamsters. They have
worked very hard to get this field up and running again. The consession stand and
restrooms need alot of work.
The Mayor of Waco, Mayor Malcolm Duncan Jr., Alice Rodriguez, John Conard and other
City of Waco council members, Coaches Tony Pena, Steve Flores, Stevie Flores,
Justo Perez, Gabriel Garza, Chris Riggins, Larry Perez and many others have joined
together to make this possible.
The 9U Rampage team will be heading to The World Series in Round Rock,Tx.
