One of Waco’s own was selected to be part of a Dallas based internship that provides minorities with hands-on training in the advertising, marketing and public relations industry. An industry that does not have a lot of minorities represented. T. J. Foster was one of 11 professionals selected in a national search for the Marcus Graham Project iCR8 Summer Boot Camp. The research that he and the other participants conducted for AT&T will help the company better understand how broadband is being used across the nation. T. J. graduated from Waco High where he played football.

The Marcus Graham Project has been holding this boot camp for three years and note that five of the past participants have earned jobs at major advertising and marketing firms such as RAPP, The Richards Group, Ohio State University, and Wieden+Kennedy.

T. J. is a recent University of Texas Arlington grad and thankful to be part of this intern program that will not only help him gain hands-on experience with various clients but also help him connect with people (VP/Presidents) within the advertising, marketing and PR industries.

He is looking forward to working with one of these big companies that helped with the boot camp project.
