Waco Cultural Arts Fest is now in its 7th year. Since 2004, WCAF has drawn artists representing some of the best in music, spoken word, dance, performance and the visual arts to Waco. Waco Cultural Arts Fest takes place in the heart of the city at Indian Spring Park,
September 18th 10am – 11pm and September 19th 11am – 5pm. Over 40,000 visitors have experienced Waco Cultural Arts Fest, a FREE, celebration of arts and culture, in downtown Waco. Spend the weekend reveling in live music, dance, poetry, food and FREE art activities for the entire family. Shop for original paintings, drawings, wood sculpture, jewelry, ceramics and photography. to bring the International “Stickworks” sculptor, PATRICK DOUGHERTY to Waco
Building monumental sculpture out of nature’s magic beginning October 3
The sculpture honors the centennial of Cameron Park one of the largest inner city Parks in the United States.
The event will include two lectures by Dougherty, one at MCC and one at Baylor University Art Department.
