Veterans Day Parade 2010
The Veterans Day Parade, sponsored by the McLennan County Veterans Association, is one of the largest in
Texas with over 125 units booked with over 2,500 participants. This year 100 soldiers back from Iraq will march
in the parade.
Lunch will be provided to veterans and parade participants at the American Legion post 121 and Veterans of Foreign
Wars post 8564 in Waco and post 6008 in Hewitt.

The Veterans parade was a big “HIT”. A co-worker of mine had her grandkids marching in it for the Young Marines. Its such a joy to see people coming out within our community to support our Veterans. The Veterans and All current soldiers are the reason we can have what we as Americans have today. FREEDOM…Thank you…
