Storybook Christmas Book Drive Underway

　　　　　　　　　 Join the citizens of McLennan County who are once again collecting new books for needy children ages 3 through 9 who do not have books of their own at home.

　　　　　　　　　 Storybook Christmas, a literacy project in its 20th year, is collecting new books for children in Moody and all other Pre-K and elementary schools in the county. Last year Moody students in the elementary school received books from the project. More than 308,000 books have been distributed in Storybook’s first 19 years.

　　　　　　　　　 You can help by placing one or more new books in the drop box at our local post office or at Barnes & Noble in Waco. To contribute money with which to buy books, send checks payable to Storybook Christmas to:
