Scholarship winners—Educator’s Credit Union awarded six $1500 scholarships
at their meeting Monday night. Four of the winners attended. JoAnn Brown presented

Alan Tuberville and Nash Tuberville of Rapoport Academy. Other winners were
Hannah Powers of Midway and Kate Harrison of Reicher.
ECU held their 72nd annual meeting at the Waco Convention Center Monday night and gave a lot of cash prizes, plus a lap top computer and a 50 inch flat screen TV. Joy Hutrya, president, said despite the economy, ECU had a good year. They have about 35,000 members and building a new office on Lake Shore for customers in the China Spring area.
