The Oglesby Lions Club will hold their 42nd annual Rattlesnake Hunt Februrary 26, 27.
Some new features are being added this year to the two day show. Like a rock climbing wall. an Elvis Impersonator and Blue Grass music. Oglesby is Southwest of McGregor.
Admission is $3 for adults and children and under 6 are free. Breakfast is served each day.
The snake pit opens at 10 a. m.
World famous Jackie Bibby will be trying for a new world record on Saturday. The TV show Animal Planet is expected in case he breaks a world record. Seems the crazy guy gets in a bathtub wth the rattlesnakes. The record we hear is 120 snakes.
Carter Blood Center will have a mobile unit there in case you want to donate some blood. Maybe the snake handers will need some in case they get bit.
A big tent will be set up for vendors. Fort Hood will bring a Hummer.
Perhaps they will need someone to sleep with the rattlesnakes to keep them company. Where do they get the rattlesnakes? If anybody knows, please tell us.
