While the current dry weather conditions may curtail some July Fourth activities, that certainly won’t be the case at the Bosque Arts Center as the Civic Music Association hosts “Red, White, and Proud!” The event will combine a variety show and singalong with a mini-carnival and exhibits.

The activities will begin at 12:00 noon on Monday, July 4th with a dunking booth, a jump house, face painting, as well as other games. On display will be a medivac helicopter courtesy of Air Evac Lifeteam #51, an ambulance from North Bosque EMS, and a firetruck from the Clifton Volunteer Fire Department. Popcorn, hot dogs and drinks will be available.

A variety show will begin at 2pm featuring the GraceNotes, Bosque County Poet Laureate Sherrod Fielden, Walt Lewis as Thomas Jefferson and T.J. Fowler. Up and coming musicians McKenna Crabtree, Reagan Dyer, Gramm Guillory, Rebecca Hauk and Jake and Morgan Wallace are just some of the young performers who will also be a part of the celebration. Following the concert, there will be the traditional crowd-pleasing singalong. While admission to the concert is free, donations will be solicited to cover the cost of the event.

For further information, please contact the Bosque Arts Center at (254) 675-3724 which is located at 215 South College Hill Drive in Clifton.
