Lorena’s Chocolate Peppermint Stroll
The Lorena Chamber of Commerce will again be having its annual Chocolate Peppermint stroll on Friday, December 10, 2010 from 5-9 p.m.
Visitors and Lorena residents will enjoy an evening of strolling through
“Old Town” Lorena and stopping at the local businesses for a taste of chocolate and great gift ideas for Christmas.
To enhance everyone’s enjoyment and to help ring in the Christmas season, live music will be featured from 5:30 – 8:30 by local talent Brett Hendrix of Lorena. Brett will be playing his original songs as well as Christmas and country songs. Brett is an up and coming singer/guitar player known for his unique voice and guitar playing abilities from such a young man.
Come enjoy good music, food at local eateries and finish with wonderful chocolate treats while you “stroll” through historic Lorena for gifts and ideas.

- He is 15years old and a student at Lorena High School. Brett has been playing guitar since he was 9 years old and has been playing around Waco since he was 13. He writes some of his songs and plays, country and Texas blues.
