Why January?

Cats go into almost continuous heat cycles in January – February.

This happens until they are spayed or (ugh) bred.

Why Cats?

Friends already have as many cats as they want to care for.

Shelters don’t have room for more cats.

Why 4-6 months old?

Cats usually begin their first heat cycle at

5-6 months old. Yikes!

Shelters are FULL

of kittens from first litters. We must prevent the first litter.
