G.W. Carver Academy to host Technology Camp
technology, will host the first annual summer technology camp on June 13 and 14 from 9:00
a.m. until noon both days. The camp is free for incoming G.W. Carver Academy students who
are entering the sixth-grade. The camp will be held at the school, located at 1601 J.J. Flewellen
Road.
Students will experience two days filled with exploration, creation, learning and fun as they
become acclimated to the campus and some of the faculty members. Space is limited to the first
25 students who register.
Also, on June 13 at 11:00 a.m., the Geek Squad from Best Buy, an Adopt-a-School partner with
G.W. Carver Academy, will visit the school to work alongside G.W. Carver Academy’s very
own student Geek Squad.
