Christmas Open House at Stilwell

Stilwell Retirement Residence will present a special open house on Sunday, December 12^th. ‘Christmas at Stilwell’ will take place Sunday afternoon between 2:30 and 4:30pm. The general public is invited.

“This is our way of celebrating the holidays with our friends, family and neighbors. We’ll have coffee, hot chocolate and plenty to eat.” says Joel Wright, Executive Director of Stilwell. Stilwell will also be giving away door prizes throughout the afternoon and there will be a variety of Christmas music.

Stilwell is currently in the final phase of its multi-year “modernization project”. Announced this past summer, Stilwell is rapidly raising funds for it’s new Wellness Center, Fitness Center, Beauty Shop and newly remodeled Guest Suite. Visitors can tour the facility and see first hand how the new additions will look.

Stilwell Retirement Residence is the only retirement facility for teachers in the State of Texas. Other non-teaching retirees are also welcome. The facility is a non-profit organization and is funded by monthly rentals and a remarkable network of benefactors.

Stilwell Retirement Residence is located at 5400 Laurel Lake, just behind the Target Greatland store.
