Central Christian Church Celebrates 30^th Anniversary of Noah’s Ark Preschool

Central Christian Church will celebrate the 30^th Anniversary of its Noah’s Ark Preschool & Parents Day Out during the Sunday morning worship at 10:30 am on Sunday, October 17.

Noah’s Ark Preschool has served children of the Waco community since 1980 as a three day a week program for infants through pre-K. The school currently serves about 85 children throughout the week. Part of this special worship experience will be recognition of the preschool’s ministry over the years. The school has only had two directors, Ediclair Jacks and Sharon Epp. Both plan to be present during worship. All current teachers and students have been invited to worship that day. All “alumni” in the Waco area are invited to be present.

During worship on Sunday, the congregation will participate in the National Observance of Children’s Sabbath. Sponsored by the Children’s Defense Fund, Children’s Sabbath is an opportunity for people of all faiths to come together and focus on the great needs of children in our country and in our world. As part of the worship experience, children of Central Christian Church will be leading worship and Rev. Kristin Jack, Associate Minister, will deliver the sermon, “Blessed to be a Blessing.”

After worship, everyone is invited to a fellowship lunch filled with “favorite kids foods.”
