Will we all be healthier?
After two weeks of watching the Olympics does that makes you want to get out and do more exercise yourself?
If has been a breath of fresh air to see all these young people working so hard to get on the big stage.
We didn’t seem to have any disasters this year, like in the past.
NBC says they may actually make money on televising to the world wide audience, even with some increased expenses they didn’t plan on. Facebook and Twitter helps keep the announcers on their toes.
Let’s hope this healthy attitude rubs off our home folks. Should be easier for the schools to teach healthy living.
Congratulations to the thousands of young folks that who work so hard to get on the big stage and get a medal. Gold preferred.
Another great bunch of young folks here are working now to get on Friday night lights. Despite the heat they have been working out.
Then the first pro games are getting underway.
So far RGlII came out on top in his first game. This will give us more national exposure. PR if he makes it big with the Redskins. We hope we will get to watch him on some of the big sports networks.
The Olympics would up Monday night. For the first time a larger number of the winners were women. The U S won 104 medals – the most of any country. 46 gold medal winners. It lasted 17 days and some 10,000 athletics participated. The next Olympics are the winter games in 2014 in Russia. The Russian government is building a new town just for these games. Some of the first buildings are hotels. They have one on the downhill slides already finished.
The next summer Olympics are in Rio in 4 years.
