BOARD SEEKS COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT FOR SUPERINTENDENT//CEO PROCESS

The Moody Independent School District (ISD) Board of Trustees has employed Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Executive Search Services to assist with the search for a new superintendent/chief executive officer (CEO). The Board has requested that school personnel and the public be involved in developing qualifications and characteristics of the person the Board should seek to become the new superintendent/CEO.

Thursday, February 15, 2011. The TASB search consultant will facilitate discussions with community members. The schedule of these meetings is as follows:

Community involvement meetings will be held

Time Group Location

10:00 a.m. Administrators Board Room

12:00 noon High School Students Board Room

2:00 p.m. Support Staff Board Room

4:00 p.m. Teachers/Professional Staff Board Room

6:00 p.m. Board of Trustees Board Room

7:00 p.m. Community (Town Meeting) Board Room

The Moody ISD Board president encourages all members of the community to attend and share their thoughts and insights. Even though meetings are designated for specific groups, each meeting is open to any interested person who wishes to attend.
