prepares to Run for Mayor.
Antwone is laying the foundation to run for Mayor of Waco, Texas in the May
12, 2012 city election.
“Growing up in Waco I see things I want to change,” Antwone said.
I want to be Mayor because I want to be heard and to deal with the Issues of
the People of Waco.
Waco is not equal for all of its citizens and thats not fair nor is it right
“I want to be a voice for the community, to represent the people of our
city.”
I think that growing up in the Eastside of Waco would make me more effective
as Mayor, getting a first hand of how certain parts of
our city are over looked.
Im not running for Mayor for financial gain, Im trying to be that person who
listens to the people and help lay the foundation to moving Waco our city
forward. I will focus on the “Little Guys” of our city, but deal strongly
with other Issues. My Main focus is to moving Waco Forward
“The time is now for Waco to move forward and not do Business as usual.”
My goals as Mayor will be
To cut poverty in Half…we do this by Creating Jobs and Better
Educating our Citizens
To develop the Brazos River…for tourist attractions…The more
visitors Waco has the More Money Waco Makes
Total economic development…convince businesses to do business
in Waco and hire our Citizens
Small Business Development Assistance…..Current Businesses and
Start-ups
Fair and Equal Treatment for ALL
Education….Try to set up partnerships with local Colleges for
“GOING BACK TO SCHOOL PROGRAM”
Taulton, 24, is currently student studying Theology at the George W. Truett
Theological Seminary at Baylor University.
Prior to returning to school, Taulton lived Homeless in the Streets of
Oklahoma City to flim a documentary “A Day in Our Shoes”
about the everyday life of the homeless.

Are you serious? If this guy is running for mayor, then I am moving away–QUICKLY. I think that jumping into politics should be about doing something good NOT about personal gain. This guy appears to be a fake! I would caution anyone from voting for him. CITIZENS: Don’t put Waco in the hands of someone that has NO CLUE.
Who wrote this? This article has numerous mistakes – capitalized words in the middle of sentences, missing punctuation, etc. It is very hard to read.
This guy is the devil reincarnate. He is a closeted homosexual who dropped out of theology school because his grades werent good enough and he is a disgrace to the community. The only people who would vote this diabolical fool into office are clearly those who dont know the real antwone Taunton. I know some who knows him pretty well. The guy is pure evil.
I have lived in Waco for 27 years and China Springs prior to that. This is the first time that I have heard of a complete uneducated idiot running for mayor. Waco would definitely be the joke of Texas if he were involved anywhere in government. My family and I are actually considering moving to the East coast but have decided to stay in Waco because of the strong local government. We will move immediately if a 24 year old, liar is elected. This article says he lives in Oklahoma city. What does Oklahoma city have to do with Waco, Texas? I think his motives and background should be thoroughly investigated because something sounds fishy.
Okay antwone is a very close friend of mine. I was there when he made all of the positive moves that he made in the community. I say community because everywhere he goes he works to better the community. I can personally say that I am a witness of the personal sacrifices he made, that completely altered the lifestyle he was accustomed to living throughout his life. With that being said Victory let’s start with you. The article clearly states, and I quote, “I’m not running for mayor for financial gain…”. Think about it, we are talking about a man who lives the life of a homeless man with the financially challenged. He made a documentary to enlighten the country on the needs and poverty stricken lifestyle of the homeless. Not only did he EDUCATE, he and the producers came together to provide homes for the homeless participants. If that’s not real, I don’t know what is. HELEN….HELEN…….COME ON NOW HELEN. Diabolical, are u really going to go there? Like I said I know Antwone Taulton, the future mayor of Waco, like a brother. Anyone who even remotely knows him knows that he doesn’t accept BULLSHIT, nor does he deal with people who are involved with BULLSHIT. Last time I checked, the definition of diabolical the word is: satanic, devilish characteristics etc. Now u made it clear u know the definition of the word but why is it that u can’t use it correctly? Could it be that you are so full of bullshit that Antwone refuses to deal with u? Could it be that you are so upset that u don’t know how to contain yourself? I,being as close to him as I am, can say that yes he has made some mistakes and with those mistakes he has proven he is definitely not a “homosexual” as u claim.(if two kids isn’t enough proof). Oh and for the record, he dropped his classes due to health issues. He has been sick for the majority of his life. His white blood cell count is low. The doctors thought he had leukemia. What’s funny is, through all of that he has still achieved achieved probably more than u ever will. I mean come on, he is 24 and running for mayor. He is 5 semesters from a masters degree divinity. He’s the devil though? And finally, Phil. For starters, you say he is uneducated. Again, 5 semesters away from his masters degree in divinity. That speaks for itself. Did you even read the article, do you even know him? He is the perfect candidate, and has already started making progress toward the goals that he states in the article. The proof is there on the video clip attached to the article. He hasn’t even been elected yet. Think about what ur saying. The current mayor states he will not be running in mays election. Antwone is probably going to win the election so all I can say for you is get ready to move I guess. I just have one question. What did he lie about? If that isn’t enough, the article states that he grew up on the eastside of Waco. Antwone is a community activist whereever he is. that’s what links Oklahoma to Waco. He is a black, 24 year old, Baylor student, with a good head on his shoulders not to mention, the future mayor of Waco. I bet that would seem fishy to you.

I just found out who is running for Mayor of Waco. A student? Why? I’ve asked around about him and the common reference is that he has a mental condition. I URGE ALL WACOANS TO VOTE FOR CANDIDATE DUNCAN!! Advice to you Antwone: Don’t play around with politics; graduate college first; get psychiatric help immediately.
